A Sherri Baldy Card!

Here’s another project I did using Sherri Baldy Stamps!  This image is called Glinda Got the Shoes!  It can be found here.  I just loved working with this stamp!  I’m not much of a cardmaker.  I can probably count the cards I’ve made on one hand!  But I thought I would give it another shot!  It’s fairly plain.  I have a hard time using a lot of embellishments on a project.  But I did add lots of Stickles!

 I had some cute trim which I got from a dear friend (Joanne  ðŸ™‚ ), and added some star trim that I bought at the dollar store.  It just seemed to be the right trim to use for this “magical” card.

I made Glinda “pop” by adding pink, silver, and clear Stickles!  I also added a few silver bling to her crown. To color her, I used my Distress Markers.

 I felt that the top corners were a little in need of something, so I used my new corner punch.  I think she looks beautiful!  I also used my skin tone Copics to color her face and arms.

Then I needed a sentiment to put inside the card.  What is a card without a sentiment, right?  So I came up with this!  Of course I had to use some more silver Stickles!  Then I added a cute little flower I made.

I think she turned out pretty good!  What do you think?  I would love to hear from you!  ðŸ™‚
