Blog Hop Update…

Well, sorry everyone…the Blog Hop Soiree had to be postponed. I will keep you posted on when the date will be….
Anyway, here’s a couple of projects that I made that I was going to put on the Blog Hop. Better not let any projects go to waste! LOL!

Aren’t they just adorable? I made the bunny using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scalloped Hearts and Scalloped Circles! I used the large scalloped circle and large scalloped heart for the head. I then used the smallest scalloped heart for the nose. I drew and cut out the ears freehand. If you are interested (and leave a comment), I will put up a pdf file that has the ear shapes. I drew the face freehand, too! The front paws I used a medium sized scalloped circle, and for the feet I used the large scalloped heart. And of course you can’t forget the tail! I used a bunch of cotton balls glued together! So cute!

And for the treat cone/carrot I just used a 6 x 6 inch piece of orange cardstock. I then embossed it using one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders. I then twisted the cardstock into a cone shape then glued the seam together. Then I trimmed off the excess off the top. I added strips of old book pages that I glued into a ruffle. Then I rubbed some Peeled Paint Distress ink on the paper. I think it turned out great! What do you think? You could put all sorts of goodies in it!
