Its time for another Create Craft Share! This month our theme is: Organization
I’ve been wanting to get myself some paper holders for all my stacks of scrapbook papers for such a long time, but I just couldn’t get past the price. They were kind of expensive. So I figured…”you know, I think I could make my own”.
I’m sure this happens to a lot of people. You see something you need, but the price is crazy expensive and you just can’t justify it. It happens to me a lot. And when that happens, that starts me off on a let’s-see-if-I-can-do-it mentality.
I believe that anything is possible, right? So I started thinking of how I could make these paper holders. I needed something fairly sturdy because a stack of paper together is quite heavy. You don’t want your holders to fall apart. Then it came to me…foam board! Yes, and that is from the Dollar Store!
Now how can I stick them together so they won’t come apart. Well, by using Duct Tape of course. I found some White Gorilla Tape. That would work for sure.
So I set out to make a template for myself. I needed to make sure that it could fit my 12 x 12 scrapbook paper, along with a bit of wiggle room. The measurements/templates are listed in the Supply List below.
Let’s get started…
- Foam Board – White
- Gorilla White Duct Tape, 1.88″ x 30 yd, White, (Pack of 1)
- Box Cutter
- Meter/Yard Stick Ruler/li>
