My Jukebox Creation!
A couple of months ago I made a project that had been floating around in my head for a while. I entered it into the Scrapbook Carnival, but since I didn’t win anything I thought it would now be okay to share it with you all. I am really proud of this project! It took quite a while to construct. I did the front of it twice. I wasn’t happy with the way it first turned out, so I tried a different approach. And I think that was the right way to go, don’t you?
I lined the upper part of the jukebox with gold glitter paper. I added a song selection board, and used a battery operated tealight and covered it with a black circle to look like a record! I first painted the front with neon t-shirt paint, but I wasn’t really pleased with the way it looked. So I decided to get aquarium tubing, spray it with glass frosting spray, and attach it to the front. Easier to think up than actually do. I ended up buying Loctite super glue to glue the tubing on. Other glues I tried just weren’t doing the trick!
For the mini album inside I decided to use the theme of our favorite eating places when we go on holidays. So I gathered all the photos of us eating (which wasn’t that difficult to do). Then I printed some of the menus off of the computer, laminated them, and put them in the album pockets.
Let me know what you think of this project! I would love to hear from you! And…my post question for today is…what is your favorite place to eat when you go on holiday??? Leave me a comment.
