I just spent the weekend at Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan enjoying a scrapbooking retreat that was put on by One Scrappy Chick (our local scrapbooking store)! It was so much fun! But exhausting just the same. I can’t believe how worn out you can get just from scrapbooking!
We were all given goodie bags filled with snacks! Actually mostly full of chocolate! I think I got a chocolate hangover now!
Thank goodness for winter tires! My son put them on earlier in the week. It was quite slippery and snowy up in the “hills”. And boy, was it ever cold when I arrived! Brrrrrrr (with wind chill… – 36 degrees celcius)!!!
At the retreat, I made some Christmas cards. I had posted on my Facebook to see which of my friends wanted a Christmas card….I got 16 requests! Wow! I did have some made already, but I had to make some different ones. Some of my friends took the same class that I did making Christmas cards. So, I thought it would be a bit tacky to send them the same card they made. Here’s some pics of them:
I hope my friends like them. They took long enough to make! 5 hours….for one card! OMG! I am just not a cardmaker. Cards are not my thing. But I enjoyed making them just the same. Hope you enjoy them, too!
Crops are so much fun. I totally get that it took 5 hours to make a card. My last crop it took all day to create a card, But the fun with friends was totally worth it. LOVE your cards. You did an awesome job.
