What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #359
Well…I’m still in disaster mode! Â I need to do another total craft room re-organize! Â But in the picture you can see a project I’m working on for a friend. Â It’s a kitty cat album. Â My friend is paying me to do the album for a friend of hers that just loves her cat. Â Personally I really don’t care for cats, but I’m still having fun doing this album (at least once I got rolling with some page ideas).
I still have another half of the album to do yet, but I think I will just make the pages similar to the ones in the first half. Â If I’d realized just how many pages are in this album, I would have picked another one. Â Wow! Â Lots of pages! Â It’s seriously daunting trying to figure out different ways to do each page. Â But this album is finally coming together. Â I’m hoping to finish it this weekend!
Oh, and if you are wondering what all the colored marks on that piece of paper are…I was trying out all my markers to see which ones needed the boot. Â Ya gotta start somewhere with this organizing thing, right? Â So my markers are all in one place now.
Next step in organizing? Â I have no idea! Â Actually, I’m starting to go through a 52 Week Organization Challenge put on by The Keeper of the Memories. Â I think I might have better luck with this since it is such a long and detailed challenge. Â I have a LOT of stuff to organize! Â I will do a post about this soon. Â If this interests you, go to her website and sign up! Â There is also a Facebook page to go and chat with other people going through the same thing.
So, that’s my mess for this week. Â If you want to see more Workdesks…go to the Stamping Ground blog. Â There are a lot of amazing creative desks to look at! Â What is on your workdesk today?
Good luck on the album. I find it a little difficult to keep motivated if I don’t like what I’m making. I once stitched a Star Trek picture for my father in law one year. I found it really hard going as (shock, horror) I don’t like Star Trek. It was worth it though when he unwrapped it. He cried.
I have that little organisation thing you are keeping your pens in. I love the little drawers – it’s where I keep my tape!

I do love seeing the reactions to what I make. That just keeps me making more! Now on to some more organizing…
that is a smart idea to toss the dry ones if they are not refillable. it always surprises me when one of mine goes dry because, I have some that are just a dozen years or more old going strong and others go bad in a few months.

Yeah, why is that? I do have many very old ones and they still keep working.
It’s great making albums for friends isn’t it. BJ#17
Yes, they appreciate it so much! It’s just I’m still hard on myself. They think it is amazing, but I think it’s just ok. I wish I could get over that.
A bit of orgnaization at a time..it’s the way forward! Good luck! I think the commissioned albums are a bit easier, especially once you get going, no emotional attachment!!
Yes, it’s always nice to get paid to do something! 🙂
I had a quick look at the 52 week organizer and it seems like a good idea. I just dont know where to start with mine so I’ll just follow you every week, all the best

Oh geesh! No pressure! 🙂 LOL! I better get started then!
