What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #389

It’s been another busy few weeks.  Had a short visit with my son, too.  Just got home last night.  And it’s now time for another What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

I don’t really have a workdesk to show you this week.  I haven’t had a chance to clean it off yet.  But I did do some shopping, though, while I was up visiting my son.  I started my Christmas cards and needed some extra stamp sets.

Last year I sent out a message to my Facebook friends to see who would like a handmade card from me.  Surprisingly I got a LOT of replies!  So this year I’m preparing a little earlier just in case I get those numbers again.  I didn’t have a lot of Christmas-type stamps, so I took a little trip to Michaels and used up some of my many Michaels gift cards (my friends know me so well, don’t they).  I also needed some sequins because…well…who doesn’t need sequins, right?  And that date-style stamp I got from Winners because I had a gift card there, too!  🙂

I can’t wait to see what my crazy creative mind comes up with for these.  I’ve done a few cards already.  I’ve been using Pinterest for inspiration.  All that pinning has got to be put to use somehow, right?  (Giggle)

As I’m typing this post, it is almost one in the morning!  Sheesh!  If I’m to get any card making done tomorrow, I better get some sleep.  At least I will after I finish watching A Haunting on TV.  Yes, I like those scary kind of shows.  Anything about ghosts.  Anyway…

Check out some of the other very talented desk ladies by going to our fearless leader’s website at the Stamping Ground.  Leave some comments, too…we all LOVE comments!

  1. Wonderful lot of purchases! I didn’t think I had a lot of Christmas-y supplies until I started pulling them all out. More than I thought. Hope you share the results with us.

  2. Hi Jen, I’m using Pinterest for inspiration too. As you say, all that time spent Pinning, and all those pins really should be made use of. I bought myself one of that date stamps a while back too, as I sort of think maybe I would like to try art journalling. One day. Lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 xxx
